A Family-Owned Roofing and Construction Company
20th Century Contracting is a family-owned roofing and construction company based in Southwest Washington. Carpentry, roofing, and building run through our entire family tree. We have served Vancouver, Longview, and Long Beach customers since 1994.
Our Story
Duane's father opened this branch in 1994 after working for his uncle's company. That company handled much of Longview and Kelso from the 1970s through the 1990s.
Duane started working in the trades at 15. He learned from some of the largest roofing contractors, including jobs out of state.
We began as 20th Century Roofing, Inc. About 17 years ago, customers kept asking us to build, not just roof. So we added construction and became master builders.
Five Generations in the Trades
Our family has about 150 years of experience in the trades. We helped build the Long Beach area, including bringing power down its main road. Today, Duane's 24-year-old son works in the business as our sixth generation.
Our Promise
"We do your roof or construction project exactly how we would do it at our own home."
We also leave every job site spotless. It is the first thing customers notice. If we take care of what you can see, you can trust the work you cannot.

Duane and Mark came in and took the job after my other contractor took my deposit and never responded to me. After months I got my money back and 20th Century came and did a great job with my roof. Thank you, Mark and Duane!
